Dear friend, when was the last time you experienced a crisis?
Everyone experiences moments where outer circumstances appear to be a devastating crisis. To many, these circumstances dominate and run their lives.
These crises leave lasting scars unless they are recognized as truly being gifts. Nature does not deliver a crisis without opportunity or misfortune without the gift.
Some people have crises that drag out for years. Others seem to nip their crises in the bud almost immediately. It’s not the outer circumstances that necessarily create the crises.
While they may draw out the crises, it is a person’s reaction that actually turns circumstances into crises.
Some misfortunes don’t reveal their blessings easily, while others are recognized immediately.
The longer you live, the more this apparently contradictory relation becomes evident and the more you see the connection between past crises and future gifts.
Through time and experience, your reactions subside, and more patient actions result.
When we face our fears, most of the time we will uncover that it was not really such a big menace after all.
We all need some form of deeply rooted, powerful stimulus that will empower us to rise above our obstacles.
If we watch how nature deals with harsh conditions, continually renewing itself, we can’t help but learn.
